I'm Not a Big Fan of the Government or 30-on-30 is a viral video and meme rap song in which Vegeta and Piccolo from Dragon Ball Z sing a low-quality song repeating the lyrics "I'm not a big fan of the government" and "30-on-30-on-30." The video was originally posted to TikTok by @chrisadamgaming in late January 2024 and went viral on the app that February.

Origin

On January 28th, 2024, TikToker^[1] @chrisadamgaming posted a video in which someone poorly impersonating Vegeta and Piccolo from Dragon Ball Z sing a rap song as the characters where Vegeta repeats the lyrics "not a big fan of the government" and Piccolo repeats "30-on-30." The video gained over 3.6 million views in a month (shown below).

It is unclear what "30-on-30" means in the context of the song, with some online speculating that it refers to a .30 handgun with a 30-round mag or a perc-30.^[2] It has also been speculated that it could be a reference to the Kai Cenat song "Bustdown Rollie Avalanche" featuring NLE Choppa, where he raps, "I ran up thirty, on thirty, on thirty."

The song became increasingly popular on TikTok and YouTube throughout February 2024, with the original sound inspiring over 3,000 uses in a month. On February 6th, and 8th, 2024, TikTokers^[3][4] @drs_tok and @chuyrdrgz18 posted lip dub videos set to the song, garnering over 2.4 million and 1.3 million views respectively in two weeks (shown below, left and right).

The song also inspired animations on YouTube. For example, on February 18th, YouTuber^[5] R&RWukong posted an animation that gained over 2,400 views in three days (shown below).
