Overview

Vitaly "Catching Predators With" Kick Streams is a series of 10 planned livestreams hosted on the Kick streaming platform during which content creator Vitaly teams up with an influencer or celebrity each episode, including Lil Pump and Ty Dolla Sign, to bait, expose and humiliate child predators. The first stream took place on May 3rd, 2024, with several clips going viral online. Following the stream with Ty Dolla $ign on May 5th, a clip of a man punching one of the alleged predators in the face and knocking him out went viral, inspiring some rumors that the man died, although these were purportedly false.

Background

On April 21st, 2024, professional boxer Ryan Garcia made a post to X^[1] writing, "I’m next fight is to save the children I’m going front lines And I’ll be documenting it pray for me," garnering over 60,000 likes in two weeks. That day, content creator Vitaly quote-reposted the X^[2] post with a poster advertising a 10 night streaming series on Kick where he and Garcia would catch predators, writing, "I have 30 Child Predators ready to be exposed. DM ME 😈," garnering over 3,800 likes in the same span of time (shown below).

Developments

Catching Predators With Lil Pump

On May 1st, 2024, Vitaly posted a graphic to X^[3] advertising night one of the predator streams, which would feature he and rapper Lil Pump catching predators, garnering over 900 likes in five days (shown below).

The stream took place on Kick^[4] on May 3rd, 2024 and garnered around 3,800 views on the VOD in three days (partial reupload shown below). During the stream, which lasted around five hours, Vitaly, Pump and a small crew exposed and harassed several men, the purported predators, who Vitaly had previously baited into meeting up with them under the guise of being underage.

Catching Predators With JayDee

On May 4th, 2024, the second stream with influencer JayDee took place on Kick,^[5] garnering around 2,600 views on the VOD in two days.

Catching Predators With Ty Dolla $ign

On May 5th, 2024, the third stream in the series with rapper Ty Dolla $ign took place on Kick,^[6] garnering over 8,700 views on the VOD in a day. Around 3 hours into the stream, the crew meets up with a man, one of the alleged predators, who ends up getting punched in the face by another man. He is seen bleeding on the ground, hurt. Vitaly calls an ambulance to the scene.

Catching Predators With Ryan Garcia (Postponed)

On May 5th, 2024, Vitaly announced on X^[8] that the fourth stream in the series would take place on May 6th with Ryan Garcia (shown below). The stream was postponed.

Catching Predators With Bradley Martin and Deorro

On May 7th, 2024, Vitaly hosted the fourth stream in the series on Kick^[12] in place of the postponed Ryan Garcia episode, this time featuring influencers Bradley Martin and Deorro. During the stream, Bradley and Vitaly confronted who was purportedly Herschel Weingrod, a movie producer on the 1996 movie Space Jam, trying to meet a 15 year old girl. The clip went viral on X (shown below).

Online Reactions

Several clips from the streams went viral as they took place. For example, on May 4th, 2024, X^[7] user @FouseyUpdate posted a clip from the Lil Pump episode of Vitaly and Pump spray painting one of the men's heads while Pump sang a rendition of his song "I Love It", garnering over 5,000 likes in two days (shown below).

On May 5th, X^[9] account @DramaAlert shared a clip of Vitaly and Ty Dolla Sign approaching an alleged predator and shaving their head as punishment, garnering over 7,000 likes in a day (shown below).

73 Year Old Predator Knocked Out Video

On May 5th, 2024, a clip from around the three hour mark of the Vitaly x Ty Dolla $ign stream where a purported gang member, not associated with the stream, approached a 73 year old predator that Vitaly was confronting and punched him in the face, sending him to the ground. The man can be seen bleeding on the ground as Vitaly called an ambulance to the scene. For example, the video was shared by X^[10] user @FearedBuck, garnering over 6,600 likes in a day (shown below).

Rumors began spreading online that the man died after being punched. Later that day, Vitaly posted a video on X^[11] confirming that the man was in the hospital and would be okay, also claiming that he would be arrested for the purported predatory behavior (shown below).
