The rap song ironically trended on TikTok in late 2022 as people thought it sounded like rapper Kevin Gates or Summrs. Going into late December 2022, the song's virality continued as remixes surfaced such as I'm The Biggest Munch, I'm The Biggest Dog and I'm The Biggest Cat, among others.

On November 28th, 2022, SoundCloud^[1] artist ✞SAINT MERCATØR⚜️✨🕊 posted the audio for his track "Da biggest bird🦤🦩🦚🦅🕊[EZZIEWTF]" and received roughly 65,900 listens and 5,700 likes in 11 days (shown below).

On December 3rd, 2022, TikToker^[2] happyproudcitizen screen recorded and posted ✞SAINT MERCATØR⚜️✨🕊's "Da biggest bird" as a video, writing in text overlay, "THEY DONE GOT KEVIN GATES ON A PLUGGNB BEAT😭😭😭." Over the course of six days, the TikTok received roughly 237,500 plays and 34,800 likes (shown below).

Thereafter, various TikTokers started using the song as a sound, mostly posting memes about how bad yet good the song was or making ironic, bird-centric content. For instance, on December 4th, 2022, TikToker^[3] weluvvjimmy posted a video in which he proclaimed, "i'm the biggest bird 🦅," and made a bird hand gesture, gaining roughly 39,900 plays and 10,300 likes in five days (shown below, left). On December 5th, the artist of the song posted a TikTok^[4] using the sound and many prehistoric bird images, proclaiming, "typa shii i been on." Over the course of four days, the video received roughly 34,800 plays and 4,600 likes in four days (shown below, right).

On December 9th, 2022, Twitter^[5] user liigles posted a screen-recording of the song, captioning it, "Niggas hop in the studio and say anything 😭💀." The video received roughly 466,100 views and 33,200 likes in three days (shown beow).

Remixes

As the song's virality spread across TikTok and elsewhere in December 2022, multiple remixes of "I'm Da Biggest Bird" surfaced online. For instance, on December 12th, 2022, a remix made by TikToker mayabuckets leaked via a TikTok^[6] video uploaded by livergonepurple, gaining roughly 23,400 likes in four weeks (since deleted). Mayabuckets added the lyrics, "Yeah he smell my turd, then he make me squirt." Soon after the leak, on December 18th, 2022, TikToker^[7] fwmarkusyo posted a video that mashed both mayabuckets' remix and a slowed version of the original song, gaining roughly 120,600 likes in 16 days (shown below).

I'm The Biggest Munch

On December 13th, 2022, TikToker^[8] just_chr1ssy posted a video that included their own remix called "I'm The Biggest Munch" in reference to rapper Ice Spice and her slang term "munch." Over the course of three weeks, the video received roughly 92,600 likes (shown below, left). Various TikTokers started using the sound for their own videos, gaining viral engagement (example shown below, right).

I'm The Biggest Dog

On December 21st, 2022, TikToker^[9] qxuanzl posted a video of their own remix about being the biggest dog, earning roughly 78,700 likes in 13 days (shown below, left). Similar to the other remixes, viral usage of the sound ensued (example shown below, right).

I'm The Biggest Cat

On December 24th, 2022, TikToker^[10] luvbabyj13 posted a remix about being the biggest cat, gaining roughly 14,000 likes in 10 days (shown below). The sound inspired viral usage as many referenced multiple cat characters present in memes. For instance, on December 28th, 2022, TikToker^[11] ballincat43 posted a video that used El Gato, gaining roughly 10,600 likes in six days (since deleted).

"Da Biggest Bird" Music Video

On January 18th, 2023, the music video for SAINT MERCATØR's "Da Biggest Bird" was uploaded to YouTube^[12] by the channel Jmoney1041, earning roughly 1.1 million views and 68,000 likes in three weeks (shown below). The video featured SAINT MERCATØR in a full-sized bird costume chasing around other birds and rapping.
