The sounds originate from Bo Burnham's 2021 musical comedy Inside and a viral TikTok clip from 2021.

On May 30th, 2021, Bo Burnham released his musical comedy Inside on Netflix. The comedy special contained a line in which Bo Burnham says, "I am…um… not well." A clip of the line can be accessed via an August 5th, 2021 upload by TikToker^[1] @boburnham.exe, where it gathered over 12,000 plays and 1,200 likes in a year (seen below, left). On July 7th, 2022, TikToker^[2] @user850289528 posted a video using the aforementioned dialogue and a video of a person in a motorized wheelchair racing across the camera, gathering over 6.5 million views and 1.4 million likes in eight months (seen below, right).
