The earliest known video sharing the trend was posted by TikToker^[1] @theyluv.qlf on April 7th, 2023, sharing the decoder, garnering over 829,000 views in three days (shown below).

Spread

The trend spread across TikTok over the course of April 2023, usually under an original sound^[2] by @04lbn, as users continued to post their codes on their Instagram Notes, including an April 8th video uploaded by TikToker^[3] @sheluvz.cris0 that gained over 800,000 views in two days (shown below). The trend was reported on by HITC^[4] on April 9th and Distractify^[5] on April 10th.
