Jasmine Masters "And I Oop", sometimes referred to as Anna Ou, refers to a reaction video series of Jasmine Masters interrupting her video rant by saying "And I Oop." Online, the video has come to express interrupting one's self because of a shocking revelation.

Origin

On October 28th, 2015, RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Jasmine Masters uploaded a video entitled "Jasmine Masters handle your liquor." In the video, Masters rants about friends who become overly intoxicated when socializing. During her speech, she interrupts herself by saying "And I--Oop." After composing herself, Masters says, "I just hit my balls." Within four years, the video has received more than 149,000 views (shown below).

On March 1st, 2019, Twitter user @eazy_a_714 posted the video as the comment to another tweet. The post became one of the earliest and most widely seen versions of the clip. In about two months, the video received more than 40 retweets, 460 likes and 6.79 million views (shown below).


On March 25th, 2019, YouTuber anon eats crayons posted an isolated version of the video under the title "and i oop." Within two months, the video received more than 12,000 views (shown below, left).

Two days later, YouTuber ruhrohraggy posted a longer version of the isolated clip that received more than 15,000 views (shown below, right).




On March 29th, 2019, Twitter user @cherryemoticon posted the video as the punchline to the joke "When you’re telling your parents a crazy story and you almost snitch on yourself." The post received more than 65,000 retweets,125,000 likes and 2.5 million views (shown below).

Several weeks later, on April 14th, Twitter[1] user @reactionvideos_ posted the video. It has since received more than 390 retweets, 2,700 likes and 4 million views.


On April 24th, Twitter user @luvpxris posted a longer version of the video with the caption "My friend sent me the full video of the 'and I oop' meme and GIRL." The post received more than 45,000 retweets and 149,000 likes in less than two weeks (shown below).
