About
Is It Me? Am I The Drama? refers to a catchphrase and viral TikTok audio of Scarlet Envy, a drag queen who participated in the RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 in June 2021. In the promotional clip, Envy says, “Is it me? Am I the drama? I don’t think I’m the drama. Maybe I am. Am I the villain? I don’t think I’m the villain." Online, the clip inspired a series of parodies and lip-dubs in 2021, resurfacing in June 2025 after American rapper Cardi B's upcoming sophomore album title bears the same name as Scarlet's catchphrase, Am I The Drama?

The catchphrase resurfaced as a viral topic in mid-June 2025, after American rapper Cardi B’s team responded to rumors that her upcoming sophomore album title was inspired by Scarlet Envy's meme. Her team said her new album title (Am I The Drama?) isn’t a reference to "Envy’s iconic quote from Drag Race All Stars," but both parties are "in talks to work together soon."
The X account @pinknews[4] posted a video about the topic on June 25th, 2025, gaining more than 22,000 likes in a few hours.
@pinknews Cardi B’s team has confirmed that her new album title ‘Am I The Drama?’ isn’t a reference to Scarlet Envy’s iconic quote from Drag Race All Stars. After Cardi announced her album title Monday 23 June, fellow All Stars 6 competitor Jan shared the cover art and commented: "Scarlet Envy i am shaking." #scarletenvy #cardib #amithedrama #dragraceallstars #drag #lgbtqia ♬ original sound – PinkNews 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
