Jet Bike Steve (or JBS) is the star of a fictional film series created by actor Simon Pegg (of Shaun of the Dead and Spaced fame) through his Twitter account on March 23rd at 7:22 AM.

Jet Bike Steve, played by Pegg, is a 'good pirate' who steals from rich executive's yachts. He rides a talking Geordie jetbike called the Barack-uda, and his accomplice Thor (jokingly suggested by Pegg to be played by common collaborator Nick Frost) rides a large jetbike called Anne.

Jet Bike Steve was instantly well-received by Pegg's Twitter followers and fans, and it wasn't long before JBS appeared all over the internet such well as ideas for potential cast members, a fake poster for the first film (Jet Bike Steve and the Bikini Thief), a Facebook petition for Simon Pegg, Edgar Wright and Nick Frost to make a real JBS movie and, strangest of all, a Wikipedia page that claims Jet Bike Steve and the Bikini Thief is a real-life upcoming film, with action figures and a foreign version already in pre-production.

Simon Pegg has jokingly embraced JBS' success, but it is most likely just an idea that was never meant for a real film.
