About

Jordan Peterson YTPs refers to a series of humorous poop montages based on clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson's videos. Mainly produced by content creator Tall Bart, the montages went viral on Twitter in August 2022, following viral popularity of the Up Yours, Woke Moralists meme.

Origin

Canadian clinical psychologist and pundit Jordan Peterson has been a subject of YouTube Poop videos since 2018, although none of the videos achieved viral status prior to July 2022. For example, on February 2nd, 2018, YouTube[1] user Jordan Fourcher posted a YTP montage of Peterson's interview that gained over 42,000 views in four years (shown below, left). On November 19th, 2018, YouTuber[2] plinkus posted a YTP video "Jordan Peterson Debates Himself" that received over 11,000 views in four years (shown below, right).

On July 3rd, 2022, during the viral popularity of Up Yours, Woke Moralists meme based on Peterson's video response[3] to his temporary suspension from Twitter, Twitter[4] user @TallBart posted a YTP based on the video that received over 590,000 views, 5,500 retweets and 36,300 likes in two months (shown below).
