Juice Sauce Little Bit of Dressing is a series of TikTok parody videos in which users typically use juice, sauce, ice and dressing as props to perform in sync with the lyrics of the 2017 hip hop song "Cheryl" by rapper Yung Gravy.
Origin
On June 21st, 2017, Yung Gravy uploaded the song "Cheryl" to SoundCloud and YouTube (shown below), where it gained over two million plays and three million views respectively within one year.
The earliest TikTok parody video is unknown. On November 3rd, 2018, YouTuber ThonkToks uploaded the first compilation video featuring "Juice Sauce Little Bit of Dressing," garnering 47,000 views within two months (shown below).
Spread
On November 26th, 2018, YouTuber Hottest Nation uploaded another compilation video 117,700 views (shown below, left). Two days later, they uploaded a part two which accumulated 4,200 views within two months (shown below, right).
On December 21st, 2018, BuzzFeed listed "Juice Sauce Little Bit of Dressing" as number four on the 29 Of The Best TikTok Memes And Trends Of 2018 list.[4]
