About
Kanata Konoe Toy is the unofficial name given by the Love Life franchise, fandom to a plush resembling the character Kanata Koe introduced in episode 2 of the second season of Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. The character was used in various shitposts within the fandom.
Origin
On April 9th, 2022, episode 2, season 2 of Love Live! Nijigasaki aired.[1] At the beginning of the episode, Kanata presents a plush toy resembling herself, a distinct feature being the torso is covered and wrapped by a white blanket. At the end of episode the toy is present at the windows table of the club room.

Roughly a day after the episode's release, multiple Twitter artists started posting fan art based on the plush. For example, on April 10th, Twitter user @masedamokai[2] posted art that gained over 450 retweets and 1,600 likes in one month (shown below)

The character quickly appeared in exploitable memes on the Love Live Discord servers (examples shown below).
In early May of 2022, the meme became popular in the Facebook group Lowress MK11,[3] similarly to Japanese Goblin. There, the toy would be used as a punchline and appear in 3D-rendered videos (examples shown below).
