Keep Your Movie refers to a tweet posted by champion kickboxer and Romanian sports personality Andrew Tate in which he correlates being a millionaire with not watching the Star Wars movies and posts a picture of himself posing in front of an expensive car.
Origin
On April 12th, 2019, Andrew Tate or @OfWudan[1] on Twitter posted a picture of himself standing seriously in front of a car with the caption, "Never seen Star Wars. None of them. Never will. 'Omg you’re missing out' Maybe. You’re missing out on being a multi millionaire. Keep your movie." (shown below). The tweet has accumulated 7,600 retweets and 30,000 likes in four days.
Spread
On April 12, following the tweets popularity, Tate continued posting to the thread with over 10 pictures and rants that promote his website[4] and brag about his wealth and penis size. First, he uploaded proof that the car he was standing in front of is his (shown below). The video has gained over 3,000 likes in four days.

That same day, Tate continues on to post pictures of himself with women with the caption, "Everyone who’s ever watched star wars in human history is absolutely dirt poor. No exceptions. Only I can save you. I teach you how to make money online here: https://www.cobratate.com/product/war-room/" (shown below, left). The tweet gained over 2,000 likes in four days. He continued to post. For example, he posts a picture of Jesus with his own face photoshopped in with the caption, "Even watching a star wars trailer may leave you homeless, on the street, with aids. Only I have the path to absolute financial freedom. Do not follow the Jedi. Follow the Jesus. Learn how to get unlimited girls and make unlimited money HERE: http://Cobratate.com" (shown below, right). The tweet gained over 3,000 likes.
On April 12th, many people responded to his posts. Twitter user @adamscoll responded with, "I’m still trying to connect the dots on how seeing/enjoying Star Wars has held me back from my dreams of being a millionaire" which gained over 1,600 likes in four days which was followed by @thehandleiscru1 responding with, "Pretty sure Musk, Jobs, Gates, and Bezos watched it" and @MSGiro ending the debate with, "But they’re billionaires. See the difference? 😂" which gained over 1,000 likes in four days (shown below).
Andrew Tate's website features inspirational videos (shown below) and master classes on how to get rich and date beautiful women.
The same day, Twitter users began sending out parodies using the phrasal template. Twitter user @BrianPHickey[3] tweeted, "Never been a multi millionaire. Never will. 'Omg you’re missing out' Maybe. You’re missing out on being a decent human being. Keep your money" (shown below, left). The tweet gained 4,600 likes in four days. On April 16th, Twitter user @outsid3shoot3r[2] tweeted, "Never seen Game of Thrones. None of it. Never will. 'Omg you’re missing out' Maybe. You’re missing out on being a multi millionaire. Keep your TV show" and attached a picture of themself standing in front of a photoshopped car (shown below, right). The tweet gained over 1,500 likes in a day.
