Lego Filter Brickshots refers to a series of TikTok photo slideshows using the AI Lego filter for lewd images of clothed people in the backshots position. The AI images were discussed by reaction video creators in October 2024, who believed that the trend was worrying. In the comment sections, people made fun of the TikTokers for being too sensitive or trying to make engagement bait. In turn, viewers humorously dubbed the images "brickshots" in a pun.

Origin

On October 17th, 2024, TikToker[1] @nixkbernal posted a photo slideshow including multiple images ran through the AI Lego filter, gaining over 3.4 million plays and 286,500 likes in 15 days. In one photo, a woman is seen in the "backshots" position on a bed with bands of money (shown below).

On October 23rd, 2024, TikToker[2] @sendmybready shared a similar photo slideshow, showing photos ran through the AI Lego filter, gaining over 9.5 million plays and 632,900 likes in nine days. In one photo, a woman is shown in the backshots position in a car (shown below).

On October 28th, TikToker[3] @evenmorebrandonspam posted a video in which he highlighted the two aforementioned images, claiming that they were explicit and a part of a worrying trend of TikTokers hiding graphic content with the Lego filter. The video received over 4.9 million plays and 205,200 likes in four days (shown below).

In the comment section of @evenmorebrandonspam's video, many TikTokers joked about the search being "Lego filter brickshots." Others were disappointed that @evenmorebrandonspam was misrepresenting the original photos by making them seem more graphic than they were.

On October 29th, 2024, TikToker[4] @ihsaanabdulmaani shared a similar video on the topic, receiving over 2 million plays and 7,100 likes in three days (shown below).
