The dance, originally by TikToker @jaedengomezz, which involves swaying your hips and walking in place, went viral on TikTok in April throughout May, accelerated when Lizzo performed the dance.

On April 14th, 2022, musician Lizzo released the song "About Damn Time" alongside a music video for the song, gaining over 20.8 million views on YouTube[1] in four weeks (shown below).



On April 22nd, 2022, TikToker[2] @jaedengomezz posted a video where she performs an original dance to Lizzo's song "About Damn Time," gaining over 4.8 million views in just over two weeks (shown below).
