MAGA Pumpkin Hat is a bright orange and yellow hat with a Jack O'Lantern embroidered on the front and the slogan "Make America Great Again" on the back.
Origin
On October 23rd, 2017, the DonaldJTrump.com[1] online store placed the MAGA Pumpkin hat up for sale for $45 USD (shown below). Within 48 hours, the hat was sold out.
Spread
That day, the Lara Trump[2] and the @TeamTrump[3] Twitter feeds promoted the hat on the social networking site (shown below).
Meanwhile, other Twitter users mocked the hat, noting that its orange color resembled Trump's skin tone (shown below). On October 24th, Time[4] and The Daily Dot[5] highlighted several reactions to the hat in an article titled "The Internet Is Having Too Much Meme Fun With Trump's New Hats."
