About
Mario Pissing is a video parody of the Super Mario series featuring Mario urinating off of a cliff. The video's poor art and voice work, as well as its absurd premise, have helped the video grow popular online.
Origin
The original Mario Pissing video was uploaded on August 4th, 2016, by YouTube user Blaze the Movie Fan. In the video, a poorly drawn Mario, who is seen with his overalls missing and urinating off of a cliff, is interrupted by a Goomba who becomes annoyed when Mario refuses to jump on him. The original video has been viewed over 170,000 times since it was uploaded, with a reupload being viewed an additional 77,000 times,[2] and was later followed by several sequels.

Creator's Response
Following years of the video's popularity, Blaze The Movie Fan has had mixed feelings over the video, having at times disowned it. While keeping it up, he added (disowned) to the video's title, and changed the discription on July 14, 2019 to the following:[6].
Update: (as of July 14, 2019) Yeah I decided to disown it again, this time it'll stick. I really hate this video, and think it's one of my worst. But if you still like it that's fine, I just am not personally proud of it anymore.
On August 2019, he further clarified his feelings with a pinned comment on the video:
Alright, one last thing I wanna say about Mario Pissing. Since there isn't enough to warrant making a video about it, I'll say it in a comment.Yes, I do think this is one of my worst videos. However I have been a massive dick for being offended by people saying it's my best video or a masterpiece, and I sincerely apologize for that. If you like the video, that's cool. I am just gonna ignore the comments on this video praising the video from now on and just move on with my day.
So yeah, it did annoy me for years that people kept bringing it up, but the best thing to do is just ignore these comments, and focus on what I love doing. And to those who found me through this video and subscribed for my other content, I thank you and I sincerely mean that.

On April 13, 2022, Blaze reversed his stance on the video, re-owning it, with the following comment explaining his feelings on the matter:
Just so you guys know this video isn't disowned anymore. Sure I still think it's a bad video, but that shouldn't be a reason to disown a video. That should be reserved for something like movie reviews I no longer stand by, or videos with misinformation I now realize is misinformation. No need to disown a video simply because it's bad, it's just my personal opinion after all. And I also would like to apologize to everyone for making such a big deal out of people calling it a masterpiece or promoting it, that's something I regret and I shouldn't have done that.
