About
"McDonald's In the Pentagon" is a song by musician Silly Stu about working at the McDonald's fast-food restaurant in the Pentagon. An acoustic version of the song was released on February 11th, 2025, and was followed by a ska version featuring instrumentation by musician Spencer Vann (@spencer0ni) on February 21st. The ska version became notably popularized on TikTok and went viral on social media, becoming the subject of discourse and memes. The song is based on the fact that there is reportedly a McDonald's location inside the Pentagon.
Origin
On February 11th, 2025, musician Silly Stu posted a video to TikTok[1] and X[2] / Twitter, sharing a new acoustic song about working at the McDonald's located in the Pentagon. The post gained over 570,000 views on the former and 9,300 likes and 1,300 shares on the latter in two weeks.

On February 12th, Silly Stu posted a video of themselves playing the song live to TikTok,[3] garnering over 1.8 million views in the same rough span of time.

On February 21st, 2025, Silly Stu posted a music video for a ska version of "McDonald's In the Pentagon" to X,[4] YouTube[5] and TikTok,[6] garnering over 37,000 likes, 36,000 views and 7.2 million views, respectively, in four days. The ska version features instrumentals by X[7] user and musician @spencer0ni (Spencer Vann).

The song was popularized on TikTok in the days following its release, with many TikTokers posting about how good the song is.
For example, on February 23rd, TikToker[8] @ashistrash18 posted a version of the Your Honor She Won't Stop meme about the song, garnering over 800,000 views in two days.
On February 24th, 2025, TikToker[9] @somedudesmusicaccount posted a video captioned, "FELLOW MEMBERS OF THE 'I LISTEN TO EVERYTHING' CROWD HERE YA GO," sharing the song, garnering over 950,000 views in a day. That same day, Forbes[10] published a piece about the song by Stephanie Gravalese, explaining that there really is a McDonald's in the Pentagon.

Also on February 24th, X[11] user @puppyxbite posted artwork of a puppy in a McDonald's uniform captioned, "I work at the McDonald's in the Pentagon," writing, "ITS STUCK IN MY HEADDDDDDDDD!!!" garnering over 26,000 likes in a day.
That day, Redditor u/Smalandsk_katt posted the music video to the subreddit /r/TikTokCringe,[12] garnering over 2,200 upvotes in a day.
