The earliest known videos using it date back to March 7th, 2022. On that date, TikToker^[1] @mazikeen.da.demon posted a video using the filter about stalking an ex on social media and accidentally liking their post, gaining over 66,000 views in a week (shown below).

The filter saw increased use over the course of the week as more users created memes with it. On March 9th, TikToker^[2] @the_guy_who_asked02 posted a video using the filter, gaining over 3.6 million views in six days (shown below, left).
