About

Meu Fi Quer Bolacha, also known as Mim Dê Papai, refers to dialogue from a viral Portuguese video in which a man says "Mim De Papai" ("Give me daddy"). In 2021, the dialogue became the subject of a series of video memes in which users utilized AI voice-generation software to recreate the dialogue as various rappers, such as Eminem.

Origin

On April 23rd, 2015, YouTuber Lendas e Mistérios uploaded a video featuring an older man saying the dialogue. The video received 1,500,000 views in roughly seven years (shown below).^[4]

On November 2nd, 2021, YouTuber Apenas Um Jorge uploaded a video of Eminem rapping the dialogue in the rhythm of "The Real Slim Shady,"^[2] using the artificial intelligence software uberduck.ai.^[1] The video received 813,000 views and 77,000 likes in two months (shown below).^[3]

Spread

Due to the virality of Apenas Um Jorge's video, he posted a tutorial on how he made it on January 9th, 2022, receiving 254,000 views and 34,000 likes in two weeks (shown below).^[5]

The tutorial kicked off a wave of YouTubers crafting videos in which other rappers rapped the dialogue. On January 23rd, 2022, YouTuber undershitpost made a video featuring Kanye West, gaining over 236,000 views (shown below, left). Undershitpost became one of the most prominent creators of the meme, recreating it with rappers including Notorious B.I.G. and 50 Cent. On January 30th, 2022, YouTuber Night Cosplay BR created an example using Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man, gaining over 195,000 views (shown below, right).
