Hi My Name Is Trey I Have a Basketball Game Tomorrow refers to a viral Vine in which a child says the title line. The Vine grew most popular two years after it was first posted, appearing in numerous remixes on YouTube.

Origin

On June 12th, 2015, Vine user GUCCIPOPTART posted the video which shows a child saying "Hi my name is Trey I have a basketball game tomorrow… I'm a point guard…" The Vine gained over 22,000 likes and 13,000 revines (shown below).



Spread

The Vine gained a reputation as one of the site's most memorable of the following few years. For example it was included in a thread of best Vines by Twitter account @memeindex on October 28th, 2016, gaining over 2,900 retweets and 5,500 likes (shown below).


Remixes of the Vine also appeared over the following several years. One of the earliest examples, posted by Joey Holt on June 15th, 2015, gained over 695,000 views (shown below, left). Another posted by nochillvids on January 4th, 2016, gained over 38,000 views (shown below, left).


On January 19th, 2017, YouTuber 69 grams of Clout posted a compilation of remixes made with the Vine, gaining over 4.4 million views (shown below).



Reposts to YouTube have also grown very popular. For example, YouTuber Slomrr's repost gained over 2.7 million views (shown below, left) and YouTuber one flabby boi's repost gained over 1 million views (shown below, right)
