Nǐ Shì Wǒ Wéiyī De Zhí Zhuó also known as Lugowo refers to Chinese song titled "你是我唯一的执着" (Eng. "You Are My Only Obsession") by Ma Jiantao and 李冰. The song has appeared in numerous 21st Century Humor videos with Chinese-themed memes, often showing a seemingly random assortment of clips while the song plays.

Origin

In late 2021, Douyin user dyjb8leyuspz uploaded a compilation video set to the song showing a disabled woman slipping and people crying before footage of the creation of a diamond ring. The account was deleted, though the video was reposted on January 23rd, 2022 by Facebook^[1] user Santiago Vásquez in the "Shitpost Tuneado🔥" group. The video received more than 11,000 reactions and 3,900 shares (shown below).

Spread

In late 2021, people imitated dyjb8leyuspz's video by adding the song to various videos. For example, on December 27th, 2021, Facebook^[2] page "Malaysian School Memes for Occasionally Bored Teens" uploaded a version of the meme that received 132 reactions and 130 shares (shown below).

The format gained popularity on Facebook in early 2022. For example, on January 23rd, 2022, Facebook^[3] user Carl Lawrence Ramos reposted a misheard lyric of the song with a 3D dancing animal video behind it (originally from YouTube^[5] user Ijo) to the "Social Credit Farming Service" group. The video received more than 2,600 reactions and 2,300 shares (shown below, left). On January 25th, 2022, Facebook^[4] user 台发球 uploaded a video parodying dyjb8leyuspz's original video to the same group. It received more than 3,500 reactions and 2,500 shares (shown below, right).
