About

Nicki Minaj "High School" Pose refers to a TikTok trend inspired by a pose struck by rapper Nicki Minaj in her 2013 song "High School." The Nicki Minaj pose involves people wearing high heels and sitting low to the ground with their legs crossed, often in a way where all their weight is balanced on one foot. Over time, the trend evolved into a challenge in which people did the pose while balancing on precarious objects, like dumbbells, banisters or mailboxes. In July 2025, TikToker Imanni @uwantaqua posted a video where she balanced on an upright dumbbell, followed by TikToker @kristy.sarah posting a video balancing on several dumbbells stacked on each other, gathering over 70 million views. This led to several internet users spamming other viral Nicki Minaj "High School" Pose videos with the catchphrase "Kristy Sarah won this trend."
