"Niggas in My Butthole" is a comedy rap song about an unexpected sexual encounter with a Black man at a party that was originally uploaded to YouTube a preteen boy in 2012. Discovered by the mashup community in 2014, the song inspired multiple popular remixes, with the most popular version based entirely on the song's chorus and made by YouTuber Murrty going viral on Instagram in 2019 and becoming associated with an animation of dancing Patrick from SpongeBob SquarePants.

Origin

On February 11th, 2012, YouTube^[1] user nfa5511 uploaded a video titled "Niggas in my butt hole", a three-minute-long rap song about getting sexually violated by a Black man at a party. The pitch of the vocal suggests that the song is sung by a preteen boy. The video remained public in February 2014, when it had over 10,000 views, but was made private some time prior to June 2015.

The entirety of the video shows a white board with the title of the song written upon it, with nfa5511 drawing two penises to reference the song's lyrics in the process. While the original upload is unavailable, reuploads of the video can be found on 4chan archive sites.^[2][3] On July 16th, 2022, Internet Archive^[4] user lilsnvrk uploaded a full audio of the song to the site (shown below)

The song first achieved popularity as source material for remixes in January 2014. On January 23rd, SoundCloud^[5] users Mat the Brawler, Brick Flash and Thomas The Twerk Train uploaded Butthole Jamz, a compilation of eight remixes based on the song, which are the earliest found surviving remixes of the song found online. Songs from the compilation garnered between 1,300 and 7,700 streams on SoundCloud in eleven years (most popular remix shown below).

On April 14th and May 22nd, SoundCloud^[6][7] users BreadBreadington and Nirata botu uploaded popular remixes of the song that were then circulated online. As of 2025, both remixes have been removed.

On October 7th, 2016, YouTuber^[8] Murrty (previously known as Matty Mattington) uploaded a remix that combined repeating chorus from the song with "For Better For Worse" by Beatfux, a chillhop composition sampling "Von der Vergänglichkeit" by Sigi Schwab. The video garnered over 770,000 views prior to being removed (a 2019 Howard the Alien meme based on the song shown below).

In the first half of 2019, the remix went viral on Instagram, where multiple memes combining it with popular videos and animations popular at the time such as Ninja Twerk went viral, with most popular examples later reuploaded to YouTube.^[9] A meme combining the remix with an animation of Patrick from SpongeBob SquarePants dancing achieved particular popularity: on June 18th, 2020, YouTube^[10] user Lane Smith archived the video, with the upload (shown below) gaining over 3.8 million views in five years.
