Nunca nem vi ("Never ever seen" in Portuguese) is a catchphrase uttered by Flainerson Ribeiro, a Brazilian man who after a drunkenness ended up slapping his wife.

Origin

It all started mid-June, when TV Record Altamira interviewed Flainerson, who was eventually arrested for slapping his wife. During the interview, Flainerson pretended not to know the reason for his arrest, answering all the reporter's questions with "Never ever seen", "What day was that?":

The catchphrase became popular on June 26, 2017, when TV Record Altamira posted the interview on his Facebook page. The video quickly became viral and several memes were made using Flainerson saying "Never ever seen" as a template, along with the remix of the interview and funks using the phrase in lyrics.
