About

On the Block List is a TikTok dance trend set to a sped-up version of Polo G's song "Neva Cared" where performers slam their hand on a table, act as if it hurt, turn away from the camera and then twerk in time with the song. The dance was created by TikToker @ssummerann on June 9th, 2022, and spread across the platform over the course of the month.

Origin

On June 9th, 2022, TikToker[1] @ssummerann posted a video where she dances to an original sound consisting of a sped-up version of Polo G's "Neva Cared."[2] After Polo G raps, "On the block list, that's if that pussy trash, I'm Polo," the TikToker pretends to slam her fist down on a table to the beat of the bass and shakes her hand as if it hurt. She then turns from the camera and twerks as the bass picks up again. She half-turns to the camera again then twerks once more to the beat. The video gained over 330,000 views in three weeks (shown below).
