One of You Is Gonna Die, One of You Is Gonna Live or One and Two refers to a viral TikTok audio where Dream from a Dream SMP video tells TommyInnit and Tubbo that one of them will live and one will die and it's their choice. The clip was uploaded to TikTok in November 2022 and went viral in mid-January 2023 as a source for lip dub videos, often framed as villain perspective POV videos.

Origin

On November 12th, 2022, the Dream SMP Official YouTube^[1] page uploaded TommyInnit's VOD from the second-to-last Dream SMP stream, garnering over 6,500 views in two months. At the 24:38 mark, Dream encounters TommyInnit and Tubbo and says, "One and two. One of you is gonna die, one of you is gonna live and the thing is, it's up to you," telling them to decide who lives and who dies (shown below).

On the same day, TikToker^[2] @illumolights posted an edit of the clip, garnering over 1.5 million views in two months (shown below).

In mid-January 2023, the original sound for @illumolights video became popular as a source for lip dub videos, the descriptions of the lip dub videos often framing them as villain POVs. For example, on January 19th, 2023, TikToker^[3] @quinnickleshow posted a lip dub to the audio, garnering over 3.1 million views in a week (shown below, left). His video was reposted to Twitter^[4] that day by @btripi_, writing, "ALERT ALERT ANOTHER DSMP SOUND IS BECOMING A TIKTOK TREND," garnering over 2,700 likes in the same span of time. On January 23rd, TikToker^[5] @carlosbotcher posted a similar lip dub, garnering over 1.1 million views in three days (shown below, right).

On January 24th, TikToker^[6] @glxtchcat posted an original animatic based on the video game Until Dawn using the audio, garnering over 299,000 views in two days (shown below).
