Owen Gray's Alphabet Leg refers to male adult film star Owen Gray's leg tattoo that depicts the letters of the alphabet morphing into a black mass and then back out of it near his ankle. It has also been referred to as "Alphabet Soup." His tattooed leg became a pop culture reference in the form of a meme on Instagram in February 2021 and received more attention on Twitter in October 2021.

Origin

On February 27th, 2021, Instagram^[1] account @babeofbabel posted a meme to her page with text that read "Women Only Want One Thing, And It's / Alphabet Leg." The meme (shown below) received roughly 2,000 likes over the course of eight months and is the first known reference to Owen Gray's leg tattoo in a meme.

On April 6th, 2021, Twitter^[2] account @doinkpatrol tweeted "so horny i am trying to read owen gray’s leg." The tweet (shown below, left) received 927 likes over the course of seven months. Other Twitter accounts joined in on posting memes about Owen Gray's leg in the replies to @doinkpatrol's tweet. For instance, Twitter^[3] account @mrmikeyreid posted a tweet joking about how his leg looks like the Unknown Pokémon. The tweet (shown below, right) received 44 likes over the course of seven months.

On October 1st, 2021, Twitter^[4] account @killscops tweeted a screenshot of a meme made in an Instagram story posted by Twitter^[5] user @m6drie6 which read "if yo girl knows who this is means u are not giving it to her how she wants." The image (shown below) received roughly 46,100 likes over the course of five days.

Twitter users began giving Owen Gray's leg more attention in replies to @killscops's tweet. For instance, Twitter^[6] account @suicidebuu replied to the tweet on October 2nd, 2021, saying one time they posted the original "Alphabet Leg" meme to Gray's Twitter comments and it made him change his Twitter banner to the image (shown below). @suicidebuu's tweet received roughly 3,200 likes over the course of four days.
