Arpit Bala is a streamer, YouTube personality and rapper from Faridabad, India. Bala began his career in comedy through a series of sketches on YouTube, and later began releasing music as part of the rap duo Foosie Gang. Bala subsequently formed a large fanbase through reposts of clips from his YouTube Live streams to Instagram Reels.

Background

Arpit Bala was born on May 20th, 1999 and presently lives in Faridabad, Haryana.^[1] Bala has discussed his friendship with fellow Indian YouTuber CarryMinati, and his history of making content alongside him in the mid-2010s. Bala briefly stopped making content in order to focus on his college career as a law student at Jindal University but began to make music and post more videos during the COVID-19 lockdown.^[2]

On July 19th, 2018, Bala posted his first sketch^[3] to his YouTube account, gathering over 72,000 views in four years (seen below, left). On December 7th, 2021, Bala posted the first episode^[4] of his podcast "GrandMasti," gathering over 20,000 views in two years (seen below, right).

On December 11th, 2022, Bala hosted his first YouTube^[5][6] Live stream, gathering over 18,000 views in six months (seen below, left). As of June 2023, his most viral stream was a May 2nd, 2023 stream titled, "living it with arpit bala," gathering over 74,000 likes in a month (seen below, right).

Rap Career

On January 22nd, 2021, Arpit Bala released his first rap song as part of the rap duo Foosie Gang. The song was titled "Sector 28" and gathered over 400,000 views in two years on YouTube^[7] (seen below, left). On September 25th, 2021, Bala released his solo collaboration with Sangeetkir, titled "Bandar." The YouTube^[8] music video gathered over 200,000 views in a year (seen below, right).
