Overview

Breckie Hill is a TikToker and influencer known for her lip dub, dance modelling and thirst trap content. She began posting content to Instagram in 2016 and gained a significant following on TikTok throughout the early 2020s. Hill is often compared to TikToker Livvy Dunne for her looks and content, which sparked drama between the two around late 2022, resulting in Livvy blocking Hill. In February 2023, a purportedly leaked shower video of Hill began spreading across social media, often referred to as "the shower video." Some speculated she leaked the video as a promotion for an upcoming OnlyFans account.

History

On June 15th, 2017, Breckie Hill, around 14 at the time, posted her first known photo to Instagram,^[1] showing her on a tennis court with friends. In October 2019 she then posted her first video to TikTok.^[2] She started posting to the app more regularly throughout 2021, primarily sharing lip-dub videos. That year, she had several videos on TikTok^[3][4] hit hundreds of thousands of views, including an October 2nd post that garnered over 450,000 views in just over a year and a December 20th video that gained a similar number of views (shown below, right).

On March 24th, 2022, she then posted a video to TikTok^[5] that gained over 1.1 million views in a year. On May 7th, she posted another video to TikTok^[6] that gained over 3.9 million views in nine months. Her overall engagement on the app continued to rise, and on June 21st, she made a post on TikTok^[7] that accumulated over 6 million views in eight months (shown below).

Breckie Hill vs. Livvy Dunne Beef

Throughout the 2020s, Breckie Hill's comment sections became increasingly filled with comments comparing her to TikToker and gymnast Livvy Dunne for both her appearance and her content, including comments calling her "Livvy with bigger boobs." Some commenters notably tag Dunne in Hill's comments. Livvy started responding to comments like this in February 2023. On February 6th, 2023, she posted a video to her TIkTok^[11] page @breckiehill_ calling Livvy out for making a comment on Instagram with her friends seemingly implying she's a Livvy dupe, garnering over 5 million views in three weeks (shown below).

On February 8th, 2023, TikToker^[8] @digitalcloutboi posted a video sharing a clip from one of Livvy's livestreams in which she talks about why she's never acknowledged the dupe comments, claiming it's because the topic surrounds the sensitive topic of "body image" (shown below, left). This is seemingly the only time Livvy has publicly, directly acknowledged Hill.

On February 12th, TikToker^[9] @stevejoblessvii posted a clip from one of her lives in which she claims that Livvy blocked her after people started tagging her in Hill's videos, alleging that Livvy implied she's a dupe version of her in an Instagram comment (shown below, right).

Pick Me Video

On April 6th, 2023, Hill posted a video following the "Pick Me" trend where she shows herself hanging in a closet like a shirt, lip dubbing, "Pick me, choose me, love me," garnering over 2.1 million views in a week (shown below, left). On April 10th, Livvy Dunne posted a video following the same trend, garnering over 1.1 million views in three days (shown below, right). On April 11th and 12th, the media outlets The Sun^[21] and New York Post^[22] published articles sharing the hypothesis that Livvy was making a dig at Breckie, further fuelling their beef.

Breckie Hill Shower Video

In late February 2023, a video purportedly showing Breckie Hill taking a shower without clothing began spreading online. For example, a link to the video was posted to Reddit's /r/help4porn^[10] board on February 21st, 2023. On February 23rd, she posted two videos to her TikTok^[12][13] page @breckiehill_ referencing the video, seemingly confirming it's her, garnering over 1.5 and 3.1 million views respectively in five days. That same day, TikToker^[14] @gritgame posted a video referring to "the shower video," garnering over 2 million views in two days (shown below).

On February 27th, Hill posted another video to TikTok^[15] next to a shower, garnering over 400,000 views in a day. That day she also posted a video^[16] responding to a comment asking if that is "the shower," to which she says "no" and then squirts water into her mouth, garnering over a million views in a day (shown below).

As of February 2023, Breckie Hill is active on Instagram^[17] (breckiehill) with over 480,000 followers, as well as on TikTok[18][19] (breckiehill) with over 1.5 million followers and @breckiehill_ with over 1.3 million followers.

Personal Life

Breckie Hill was born in Edina, Minnesota on April 18th, 2003. She was a cheerleader throughout high school.^[20]
