They have worked as professional animators for more than a decade, and collaborated with numerous other web animators and creators such as Neil Cicierega, Homestar Runner, Parry Gripp and Worthikids.

History

Alex Butera and Lindsay Small first met as animation students at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.[1] They began collaborating on animation as students and have continued ever since. They were married in August 2010.[2]

Baman Piderman

In 2007, Alex created an animation with a crudely drawn Batman and Spider-Man for a school assignment. A year later, it was colored and uploaded to YouTube. Baman Piderman was an immediate success upon its launch in 2009, with the series amassing over 9 million total views on YouTube as of 2021.[3]

Other Work

The duo has posted numerous animations to Vine and TikTok. Their most popular TikTok, featuring music by Neil Cicierega and the voice of his daughter Darcy, was posted on January 23rd, 2021, and received over 1.6 million views in seven months.[4]
