Max Design Pro is an American YouTube channel that makes videos about an anthropomorphic monkey named Max and his home and school life. X users then began sharing memes and jokes about how Max Design Pro had committed a war crime, stating he violated the Geneva Convention by using a Red Cross symbol they do not have permission to use.

On April 25th, 2024, YouTuber[5] TheTalentlessWriter posted a video criticizing Max Design Pro's content, calling it a "brain rot" content farm in a video that gathered over 100,000 views in a month (seen below, left). A May 19th video by YouTuber[6] AugustTheDuck gathered over 700,000 views in three years. The video is titled, "Brainrot Content Farms Are A Problem" (seen below, right).
