White Claw Gabe, often written WhiteClawGabe, is an influencer and comedian known on TikTok for videos drinking White Claw, eating food on specific days (i.e. fried chicken Wednesday,) swearing excessively and comedically saying, "yeah, baby," frequently. WhiteClawGabe grew significantly on TikTok as a beloved eccentric in early 2021 as the For You Page began recommending his videos and people began reposting them on social media.

Online History

On July 12th, 2020, @WhiteClawGabe posted his first video to TikTok, a video of his dog. His first 16 videos, taking place between then and August, are mostly videos of Gabe's dogs. On November 13th, WhiteClawGabe posted his first video drinking a White Claw TikTok^[1] (shown below). In the video, Gabe says, "It's White Claw time, baby," then opens the can and drinks it, garnering over 8,000 views in five months.

On December 6th, Gabe posted two videos. In the first, he's watching a football game on TV, yelling at the Jets to win against the Raiders, repeatedly saying "fuck" with great emphasis throughout. This is the first video in which WhiteClawGabe excessively swears. In the second video, Gabe yells angrily about the Jets losing (shown below, left and right respectively). Many videos after this feature excessive use of the word "fuck."

Gabe continued to post videos over the course of the month, slowly gaining a following. On January 17th, 2021 Gabe posted a video smoking a cigar, donning the night "stick night," gaining over 27,000 views in three months (shown below, left). On the 22nd he posted a video smoking cigars again, garnering over 30,000 views in a similar span of time (shown below, right).

On February 6th, WhiteClawGabe posted^[2] his first video to reach over 100,000 videos, in which he's taking a walk and says, "Just going for my daily exercise, for my daily walk. Get up you lazy bums. You fucking pussy; don't be a fucking pussy. Get up and do your daily walk. COVID-19 or not, come on. Get your lazy ass up and go walking. It's real good. Fuck, man." The video gained over 181,000 views in two months (shown below).

On February 8th, Gabe uploaded a video captioned "sleepy Monday," garnering over 116,000 views in two months (shown below, left). On February 27th, Gabe uploaded a video excitedly yelling about it being steak and stick night, and how he deserves a steak, garnering over 168,000 views in a comparable span of time (shown below, right).

A common joke in the comments sees users comparing Gabe to a child who has just learned to swear due to the comedically excessive use of language.

By March, Gabe had gained a significant following, which continued to increase over the course of that month thanks to several successful videos. For example, on March 7th, Gabe posted a video from a nice restaurant on steak night, expressing anger over the outcome of a fight but saying he deserves a steak after it, garnering over 400,000 views in a month (shown below, left). On March 10th, Gabe posted a video excitedly saying it "fried chicken Wednesday, baby," garnering over 379,000 views in a comparable span of time (shown below, right).

On March 14th, Gabe posted a video^[3] saying he misses going to strip clubs since COVID-19, garnering over 700,000 views in a month (shown below).

On March 19th, YouTube^[4] podcast the H3 Podcast showcased WhiteClawGabe's content in an episode garnering over 1.4 million views in a month (shown below).

On March 20th, Gabe posted a video to TikTok^[5] thanking H3 Podcast host Ethan Klein for the love, garnering over 117,000 views in a month (shown below).

On March 29th, WhiteClawGabe posted^[7] another steak night video, garnering over 2.3 million views in under a month (shown below, left). This is his first video to hit over a million views. On March 31st, he posted another fried chicken Wednesday video to TikTok^[8] garnering over 1.3 million views (shown below, right).

On April 9th, comedian Chris D'Elia showcased WhiteClawGabe's content on his YouTube^[6] podcast "Congratulations" in an episode garnering over 312,000 views three weeks (shown below).

On April 24th, WhiteClawGabe posted a video to TikTok^[10] drinking a White Claw in celebration of Friday, garnering over 2.9 million views in three days (shown below).

By April 26th, WhiteClawGabe gained over 300,000 followers on TikTok and 29,000 on Instagram.^[9]

Personal Life

White Claw Gabe's real name is Gabe Biwit. Before he became White Claw Gabe, Biwit pursued acting. He appears in a 2013 student short film by YouTuber^[11] CrespiMediaProductions (shown below), and an IMDb^[12] page for "Gabe Biwit" shows that he appeared as an extra in the 2009 film The Deported.
