Online History

On January 26th, 2008, Jordan joined YouTube. The following year, on October 1st, 2009, he published his first video, a clip from the video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Within 10 years, the post received more than 54,000 views (shown below, left).

The following year, on October 24th, Jordan published his first commentary track. The post received more than 46,000 views in 10 years (shown below, right).

Two months later, he published his most popular YouTube video, "HOW TO LEVEL UP FAST! – CALL OF DUTY MULTIPLAYER." The post received more than 1.2 million views in 10 years (shown below).

On January 1st, 2010, Jordan launched the wingsofredemption Twitch account.[1][2] The earliest available stream on the channel was published on November 11th, 2018.[3]

Reputation

Fans of WingsOfRedemption appear to have a contentious relationship with the streamer. They appear to delight in trolling him for his explosive reactions. On June 6th, YouTuber Leen shared a video entitled "1 Hour Of WingsOfRedemption Banning His Twitch Viewers." The post received more than 110,000 views in less than one year (shown below).

Criticism

On his Fandom[4] Wiki page speaks of him in negative terms, calling him "lazy" and a liar. It states:

Throughout his career as a Youtube content creator/Twitch livestreamer, Wings grew a reputation of being a lazy, lying, non-committal, no will-power-having bitch that would constantly whine and complain about everything. Without fail, Richard would complain about how hard his life is whilst concurrently actively refusing to change some of the most simple factors in his life that would make his situation better. Every week, without fail, Riq would complain about some silly bullshit that he could easily change, all while making thousands of dollars a week sitting in his abused chair playing video games for a couple hours a day. Riq always somehow managed to find his way into some sort of drama but, somehow nothing was ever his fault. People just pick on this poor soul for "no reason". The notoriety that Riquardo gained for being a scumbag piece of dogshit led to Youtube channels surfacing whose sole intention was to highlighting his fails, lies, stupidity and overall asshole-ish behavior.

On September 18th, 2019, YouTuber Fredrik Knudsen published a Down the Rabbit Hole video about WingsOfRedemption. The video tracks Jordan's career on Twitch, specifically how fans and friends treat him online. Within 24 hours, the video received more than 583,000 views and became #11 on trending for gaming.

Honestly, Wings should be used as a cautionary tale for when the next kid says "Oh boy, I want to make a gaming channel on YouTube!" because you get some good money for a few years and then one day your channel loses all relevancy and you lose that nice money. Now you have to go get a real job again, unfortunately for lazy fucks like Wings, he won't do that because that involves him getting off his fat ass, again thanks Xyz_39808 for that nightmare fuel BTW.

Honestly, the only good thing about Wings is the fact that he provides an economy of videos ripping on Wings by taking his streams and showing people just how…..awful watching that shit is.
