About

Quality Queen is a mocking nickname used by fans of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga and anime series in reference to the low quality animation during the reveal of the stand Killer Queen (sometimes called Deadly Queen) during episode 21 of anime adaptation of the forth arc of the manga, Diamond is Unbreakable.

Origin

The name was created shortly after the release of Diamond Is Unbreakable episode 21 "Yoshikage Kira Just Wants to Live Quietly Part 1" to criticize the low quality art of both Killer Queen and Kira as well as how Killer Queen's over all design was different from the original manga design. The term has continued to be used as other instances of low quality in scenes involving Killer Queen have occurred.

Alternatively, some people may just be tired of seeing it, as it was discussed on this selfsame site once, but we ALL know that is not the only reason… People purposedly going off their way to hate onto something popular is just as common as the oversaturation of said popular things. I see it literally all the time for pretty much every Undertale video now. If you hate Undertale so much, why did you goddamn click a video whose thumbnail clearly shows Undertale..? That is definitely not it "being too popular to the point you cannot avoid it" – you could have easily avoided it, but chose to click on it anyway only to bitch about it. That is just pathetic.

They complain about fandoms "shoving it down people's throats" when, more than half of the time, avoiding it was as easy as not clicking a thumbnail.
