About
Remember Who You Are, also known as Saddest Nerfs in History, is a "TikTok"https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/sites/tiktok trend where people share images of modern animals with their prehistoric counterparts, often set to the dialogue "Remember Who You Are" from the Disney 1994 film The Lion King. The trend began with an AI-generated TikTok posted by @vivid_ai, where animals like giraffes, cats, and iguanas looked at prehistoric animals like sauropods and saber-toothed tigers, lamenting about what they lost. The video ends with a chicken looking at a T-rex and saying "bok." Other TikTokers joined in on the trend in late 2024, redrawing and remaking the video in their own styles.
