The Romper Stomper Fight Video, also known as the Morgan Wallen Porta-Potty Brawl, refers to a viral public freakout video of a fight between multiple women at a Morgan Wallen country music concert in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which was recorded and posted to Reddit and X in August 2023. One woman, named Dalanie DiSabato, received the nickname "Romper Stomper" for her appearance in the video in which she fought a woman who was attacking her mom. Going into September 2023, the clip gained meme attention on social media platforms like TikTok.

Origin

At around 11 a.m. EST on August 31st, 2023, Redditor -FitCouple posted a video to the /r/PublicFreakout^[1] subreddit showing a fight that occurred at a Morgan Wallen concert at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania earlier that day. Engaging in the fight were multiple women outside and inside a row of porta-potties (portable toilets). The video gained roughly 28,300 upvotes in six days and is currently the first-known upload of the video (shown below).

Soon after it was posted on Reddit,^[1] the video was posted by X^[2] user @CatchUpFeed on August 31st, 2023. Then, it was posted by X^[3] user @PGHNoContext later on the 31st. Lastly, it was also posted by X^[4] user @patrickallsyms who gained the most engagement across all three reposts, earning roughly 95.4 million views and 57,500 likes in six days.

Soon after on August 31st, X^[5] user @athurman09 replied to @patrickallsyms' video, writing, "The romper stomper clearing house!" gaining over 460 likes in six days, becoming the first known to coin the nickname (shown below).

On August 31st, 2023, various users posted viral replies as the video spread on social media. For instance, X^[6][7] users @AnthropataMMAs and @Brandon__Brave posted a viral thread about "That one lady" who "was just trying to use the toilet and everyone burst in" (shown below, left). X^[8] user @Brandon__Brave posted another viral reply on the day of, which received roughly 15,100 likes in six days (shown below, right).

Later on August 31st, the X^[9] account of Barstool Sports posted a new angle of the fight that was seemingly a viewer submission. The post gained roughly 14.4 million views and 28,700 likes in six days (shown below).

"Romper Stomper" Dalanie DiSabato's Interview With Barstool Sports

On September 1st, 2023, Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports posted an interview with Dalanie DiSabato, aka the Romper Stomper, to YouTube^[10] in which she explained the fight. She told Portnoy that her mom was guarding the door of the porta-potty that she was inside. When she came outside, a woman who thought she had cut her in line was attacking her mom. Then, she attacked the woman who was fighting her mom. The interview gained roughly 232,200 views and 5,800 likes in five days (shown below).
