Screamber, also known as Screaming Tube, refers to a character and surreal meme created by TikTok user and content creator @yourlocalbreadmanz, also known as YOURLOCALBREADMAN or Bread Man, in mid-2025. Screamber is depicted as a large silver cylinder with a black hole in the middle and big eyes with a screaming mouth protruding from the middle, often described online as a speaker or horn.

Screamber saw an increase in attention online sometime in early 2026, with images of the character being used as reaction images and exploitables in memes. The character also saw widespread use in comment sections on TikTok as a sticker in posts with screaming or yelling.

Origin

Screamber first appeared at the end of a surreal animation created by TikTok^[1] user @yourlocalbreadmanz, which was uploaded on May 19th, 2025. The video has received 1.4 million views and 198,100 likes in less than one year.

Spread

Soon after the video was uploaded, Screamber began appearing in comment sections across TikTok, usually accompanied by text meant to illustrate that Screamber is yelling, screaming or otherwise speaking loudly, reflecting content in the TikTok post that also involved screaming.

For example, on September 6th, 2025, TikTok^[6] user @v3rzw3ifeln posted a video with Screamber and the caption, "*sees any tiktok with screaming or yelling* the comments," garnering over 4,000 likes and 130 comments in seven months, with many TikTokers in the comment section spamming the meme.

On September 14th, 2025, X^[5] / Twitter user @soumoniiee tweeted an image of Screamber asking where the image was from, receiving over 5.6 million views and 174,000 likes in seven months. Two days later, X user @JuuDante replied to the tweet and noted that it was "from an animation by YourLocalBreadMan," including the original surrealist animation and garnering over 2,900 likes in a similar timeframe.

The spread of the character across TikTok comment sections was noted by creator @yourlocalbreadmanz^[2] in a video uploaded on October 12th, 2025, which has since received about 325,700 views and 13,000 likes in less than six months.

On November 11th, 2025, @yourlocalbreadmanz uploaded another video^[3] with the description, "Screamber returns," in which Screamber is chastized and retreats in a new animation. The video received about 544,800 views and 64,700 likes in about five months.

The Screamber reaction image continued to spread across TikTok comment sections into early 2026, eventually seeing a spike in interest in March 2026.

On April 6th, 2026, Redditor Spirited-Ad9559 posted about the origins of the character on the /r/TheMatpatEffect^[4] subreddit, titled "Origin of that giant screaming horn reaction image, made by Breadman (at the end)," garnering over 780 upvotes and 50 comments in two days.
