Shoto Todoroki Plushie "He Has a Birthmark Like Me" refers to a viral video from TikTok of a little girl holding a plushie of My Hero Academia character Shoto Todoroki and both have the same birthmark covering half their face. The little girl says joyfully, "He has a birthmark like me!" The original video was shared by TikToker @lastflashqueen in January 2025. The video inspired animations and fan art en masse, like some that instead centered on Avatar: The Last Airbender character Prince Zuko.
Origin
On January 11th, 2025, TikToker[1] @lastflashqueen posted a video of her daughter at a toy store holding a plushie of My Hero Academia character Shoto Todoroki. Both have birthmarks that take up a large portion of their face. The little girl says joyfully, "He has a birthmark like me!" Over two days, the video amassed over 22.7 million plays and 4 million likes (shown below).

In the following days, TikTokers used the TikTok sound[2] of the original video. For instance, on January 11th, 2025, TikToker[3] @lalalandmarket posted an animation that showed the little girl meeting Todoroki, gaining over 1.9 million plays and 523,700 likes in two days (shown below).

Also on January 12th, 2025, TikToker[5] @sarah.s.hale posted a video, calling the "He Has a Birthmark Like Me" video "the most wholesome" video she'd ever seen, receiving over 496,700 plays and 89,400 likes in a day (shown below).
