"Sick Song" is a children's song and music video posted by Billion Surprise Toys. The song's lyrics and its music video's animation became the subject of criticism and mockery online, similar to the channel's music video for "Johnny Johnny Yes Papa".

Origin

On June 12th, 2018, the YouTube account Billion Surprise Toy published the music video for the song "Sick Song." In about one year, the post received more than 20 million views (shown below).

Spread

On July 17th, 2019, Twitter user @GraceSpelman tweeted a clip video with the caption "I wish I had died instead of seeing this video." The tweet received more than 1.2 million views, 37,000 views and 10,000 retweets in two days (shown below).

Following the post, people began screenshotting images from music video and responding to the thread with jokes about the appearance of the characters, primarily the father and the doctor characters (examples below).
