Memes about Marlon looking like the Silver Surfer later led to jokes about fellow Twitch streamer Lacy changing his profile picture to the "Fat Silver Surfer" meme, which is a digitally altered version of the character in which he is made to appear obese.

On August 19th, 2025, X^[1] user @SeKeffs posted a side-by-side image of Twitch streamer Marlon and the Silver Surfer from the 2005 Fantastic Four movie, writing, "Yo I can't unsee ts bruh 😭💀."

Videos comparing Twitch streamer "Marlon" to the Silver Surfer began making the rounds in 2025, with TikToker^[2] @jrksclips posting a clip of Marlon saying that the Silver Surfer "mogs" him, gathering over 500,000 plays and 50,000 likes in a week.

Marlon later changed his TikTok profile picture to a photo of the Silver Surfer in late August 2025.
