Saw Quotes is a Twitter gimmick account that posts fake quotes from the Saw horror movie franchise which humorously imitating the messages the main villain Jigsaw leaves his victims. The account achieved viral popularity in January 2021, with several voice actors dubbing the posts.
History
On January 17th, Twitter[1] account saw quotes (@jigsaw_quotes) was created. Starting on that day, the account posted fake quotes from imitating the messages John "Jigsaw" Kramer, main villain of the Saw franchise, leaves his victims. The first tweet[2] made by the account (shown below) received 13 retweets and over 150 likes in ten days.
On the same day, @jigsaw_quotes posted its first tweet[3] to accumulate over 1,000 likes and its first tweet[4] to reach 2,500 likes (shown below, left and right).
On January 19th, 2021, the account posted its first viral tweet[5] that accumulated over 4,100 retweets and 14,300 likes in one week (shown below).
In late January 2021, the account achieved viral popularity on the platform, with multiple tweets accumulating over 5,000 likes.

Saw quotes posts fake quotes that imitate the messages that John "Jigsaw" Kramer, the main villain in the Saw horror film franchise, left his victims (example video shown below). In the series, Jigsaw trapped his victims in deadly puzzle rooms, forcing them to overcome severe physical pain to save their lives.
