So No Head? refers to a popular Vine video in which a man is on the phone, says "So no head?", then slams his phone on the ground and jumps on his skateboard. After growing popular as a Vine, the phrase returned in a series of surreal, deep fried shitposts in late 2018 and early 2019.

Origin

The original Vine was posted by user Saige on June 23rd, 2016, gaining over 188,000 likes and 85,000 revines (shown below).

Spread

While the Vine was popular, the phrase "So no head?" became a shitposting meme alongside Alright Bro I'm Boutta Head Out. One of the earliest examples was tweeted by user @sutanudo^[1] on October 21st, 2018 in response to the "Alright Bro" original picture (shown below, left). From there, it began growing popular on Instagram. For example, user salad.snake^[2] posted a version on January 2nd, 2019 that gained over 32,000 likes (shown below, right).

Other popular Instagram posts using the meme include a February 26th post by bearboob^[3] that gained over 18,000 likes (shown below, left). Another post by noxaveno_^[4] from April 13th, 2019 using Game of Thrones gained over 1,100 likes (shown below, right)
