Looks interesting, though I'm a bit worried given the replacement voice actors. I mean, okay I can grant them not wanting to deal with any headaches Mel Gibson's presence might bring and since Fowler's VA passed on a few years back he's forced their hand, but why recast Ginger and the rats especially when Babs, Bunty and Mac are back? It's gonna be utterly bizarre hearing a voice that's not Julia Sawalha's coming out of Ginger, especially to someone like me who watched the original dozens of times over the past 23 years. They also better leave Mr. Tweedy out of it, no one can replace Tony Haygarth as that character.

It's awesome that Karey Kirkpatrick is back as the writer, but I hope Nick Park is involved as more than just an executive producer, as I think his brilliance is a big part of what's made Aardman's works so endearing over the decades.

I'm simultaneously excited and nervous.

I have enough faith in the studio to think that the movie will be good. Alternatively, if the movie IS bad, I don't think it'll be bad in the same way that most crappy films these days are bad.

That being said, introducing a newborn to the plot feels like a risky move, and the massive (albeit largely understandable) recasting will be jarring. Admittedly, the fact that it's been over 20 years since the last film will probably ease the pain of the latter part.
