On September 14th, the game was released[2] for PlayStation 5 console and Microsoft Windows (launch trailer shown below).

Gameplay

The video game follows the story of security specialist named Colt who is tasked with killing eight targets called Visionaries in one day to break the time loop he and everyone else is stuck in.

Each day is split into four phases, each of each can be used to travel to one of four parts of the island to kill Visionaries, gather intelligence and set up plans. Each time when Colt enters a part of island where a Visionary is active, an assassin named Juliana can appear to hunt him.

Between the phases, player can customize their arsenal of weapons and special abilities.

The gameplay combines elements of FPS, stealth and puzzle-solving. In multiplayer mode, the player can take on the role of Juliana to enter other players' worlds (gameplay video shown below).

Reception

Upon the release, the game was lauded by critics yet review-bombed by players, primarily due to its poor performance on PC and its use of Denuvo DRM.[3]

As of September 26th, 2021, the PC version of the game maintained a 88 average critic rating and a 4.5 user score on Metacritic.[4] The PlayStation 5 version of the game held a 88 critic rating and a 6.2. user score. On Steam,[5] the game had a 75% approval rating with 7,000 user reviews.

On September 26th, video game critic VideoGameDunkey uploaded[6] a review of the game.
