CY Curly We should have some.

The game has a fragmented timeline, with characters Curly, the former captain who was severely injured in the crash and who is bedridden, and Jimmy, the second pilot who took on the captain's responsibilities after it, being the two protagonists. The gameplay largely involves the player speaking to other characters, including shy medical worker Anya, grumpy mechanic Swansea, and his cheerful intern Daisuke, and completing various tasks to piece the story together.

Going in thinking it will be a "funny haha so scary game about mouthwash turning people insane/into zombies"

Going out after it being a torrent about human depravity, fleeting existence, inability of being responsible for your misdeeds, envy and superiority complex corroding the lives of well written characters, built upon layers of red herrings and unreliable narration.

I am not even that much of a horror fan, but I gotta say this was the best existential horror I've watched in years.

Surprised to see a page for this here -- and on the same day that I learn that it has a Wikipedia article now, no less.

This is a game that really stuck with me ever since I saw Vinny and Limes play it (Limes because I missed some parts of Vinny's playthrough -- mainly characterization moments -- and had to fill in the gaps). If I had to compare it to movies, I'd say that it's a mix between the slow-burning dread of The Shining and the bleak, unflinching brutality of The Platform, with some Evangelion-style surrealism tossed in for good measure. I find myself going back to its story and characters constantly, just sorta ruminating on everything that happens in it. Very rarely do I encounter a horror game that leaves this much of a mark on me.

Fuck, man.
