On the same day, TikToker^[2] @bttybwoy posted a clip from the video, garnering over 20 million views in a month.

The original sound for TikToker @bttybwoy's video gained virality over the following month, inspiring over 1.3 million uses in that time. The most popular videos under the sound by January 4th, 2022, are a December 18th upload by TikToker^[3] @ellie__davis where she lip dubs the song and hugs her tall boyfriend, garnering over 33 million views and a December 25th upload by TikToker^[4] @bruhpuppy of a large dog named Arlo who is bigger than the family's table, garnering over 44 million views (shown below, left and right). On December 20th, SZA discussed the song's success in an article published by EW.^[5]

Another copy of the same original sound posted by TikToker^[6] @normusreedus also trended at the same time, gaining over 80,000 uses by January 4th. This version of the sound is mostly used for dance videos (example shown below).
