Bread is an item that appears in the popular online FPS Team Fortress 2. It's origin is very mysterious, appearing in the game's files years before the item was formally introduced into the game. The only way a player could make bread appear is if they used a teleporter, a machine that allows players easy access across the map. Upon exiting the teleporter, bread would pop out of thin air. The bread came in nine different varieties, each type matching the nine classes' personalities and place of origin. Bread was later expanded upon greatly in the "Love and War" update. The update introduced a 15 minute short that featured a giant bread antagonist that attacks the mercenaries.
