The Sluttiest Thing A Man Can Do is a phrasal template popularized on Twitter in the summer of 2022. The snowclone is typically used via the statement "the sluttiest thing a man can do is X" with people suggesting the "sluttiest" (or most flirtatiously sexual) act a man can perform and the punchline usually being a non-sexual act for humorous effect.

Origin

The first known post to suggest a humorous "sluttiest thing a man can do" was posted on April 19th, 2021, by Twitter user @asapasseater,^[1] who tweeted "a man skating is ultimate slut behavior that’s the sluttiest thing a man can do no respect for themselves fr fr." The tweet only gained 14 likes over one year (shown below).

Spread

The format saw some further iterations over the following year, but didn't start seeing significant spread until June 3rd, 2022, when Twitter user @heauxrgeoisie^[2] tweeted, "the sluttiest thing a man can do is have a big nose," gaining over 5,000 retweets and quote-tweets as well as 29,000 likes in eight days (shown below, left). Beginning in July, multiple iterations of the meme received thousands of retweets and likes. Many of these were relatively sincere, with people remarking on things men do that they find attractive. On July 4th, Twitter user @mcalootikkii^[3] posted, "sluttiest thing a man can do is say your name mid conversation," gaining over 16,000 retweets and 187,000 likes in one week (shown below, right).

Others took the format in a more humorous direction, often including pop culture references. For example, on July 10th, Twitter user @deelizabeth_^[4] posted the snowclone with a reference to Lord of the Rings, gaining over 6,900 retweets and 53,000 likes in one day (shown below, left). On July 9th, user @intoloveonly^[5] posted a reference to Pride and Prejudice, gaining over 20,000 retweets and 130,000 likes in two days (shown below, right).
