On September 20th, 2022, TikToker^[1] @vhsretro.edits posted an edited clip from FNAF: Security Breach where Sundrop, also known as Moondrop or The Daycare Assistant, warns the player that there is only one rule, to keep the lights on. The audio is remixed with "Hit The Road Jack” by Rio Da Yung OG (shown below). The video gained over 2.3 million views in a week.

The original sound became popularized on TikTok over the following weeks in lip dub videos where users share a rule they have, inspiring over 16,500 uses by September 29th, 2022. For example, on September 25th, 2022, TikToker^[2] @itssolemnsia posted a video sharing the rule "don't touch my face," garnering over 1.9 million views in four days (shown below, left). On September 26th, TikToker^[3] @.eliahna participated in the trend, sharing the rule "don't make me feel unwanted," garnering over 880,000 views in three days (shown below, right).

The sound is also used in other types of videos. On September 28th, TikToker^[4] @pinuppixie posted a cosplay video using the sound, garnering over 350,000 views in a day (shown below). That day, YouTuber^[5] cute tiktok uploaded a compilation of the trend, garnering over 10,000 views in a day.
