This Is My Favorite Subreddit refers to a three-panel webcomic by artist SrGrafo in which a person introduces their friend to their favorite subreddit, with another subscriber revealing the less appealing side of the mentioned community. Memes based on the comic were widely circulated on Reddit in March 2019.
Origin
On March 15th, 2019, comic artist SrGrafo released an unfinished comic titled "Drunk Member" as an exploitable template for a meme contest (shown below).[1] The post gained over 2,500 upvotes in three months.

In the following days, the format gained significant spread across Reddit, with notable memes based on the template posted in numerous communities. For example, March 15th, 2019, post by Redditor mrboxheadesu in /r/HistoryMemes subreddit gained over 43,100 upvotes in three months (shown below, left).[5] A March 15th post by Redditor simbaleitor in /r/Animemes received over 12,500 upvotes in the same period (shown below, right).[6]
